2024 Sangiovese

My 2024 Sangiovese is sourced from Forreston in the northern parts of the Adelaide Hills. The vineyard has a westerly aspect where the Sangiovese can enjoy the late afternoon sun on its rich deep red soils.

The fruit was 100% destemmed and fermented on skins for a little over 2 weeks, gentle pump overs early before plunging to help extract the balance of fruit presence as well as fill out the palate with a fine powdery tannin line. Maturation in older neutral french barrique barrels for 8 months.
